Just A Welcome

This isn’t the first time I’ve attempted to keep a blog about running. I seriously try every year or so. The writing starts BIG, with something VERY IMPORTANT that I need to get off my chest and I tell myself, “I’m going to stick with it this time.” That lasts about a week and I maybe write one other bit and then forget. But I’m serious about it this time. I bought this dang website. I put the WordPress icon on my iPhone’s front screen.

Because, as a friend told me today:

And it would be a shame to keep it all to myself.

I want everyone to be a runner. I want it to seem as appealing to everyone else as it is to me. I want it to be less intimidating. I want to help.

I’m available to coach and I’ve started leading runs with Adventure Aide (https://adventureaide.com/), an app startup that has recently made its way to Los Angeles.

I’m also ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS happy to talk running, debate about gear, watch Billy Yang’s docs, accept free race entries…you know, the usual.
